Its blade is tempered and hardened spring steel, authentically etched with exact Elven runes seen in films. Its hand guard and pommel are plated in genuine silver, authentically weathered and worn. Distressed hardwood grip features a hand-applied, silver vine inlay. This Sting FX Collectible is a full scale prop replica of Sting given from Bilbo Baggins to Frodo Baggins in the trilogy of feature films. This electronic collectible features a glowing bright blue blade and motion sensor controlled sound effects: four different clashes and a pulsing hum. With a metal hilt and pommel, this looks and feels like the real thing. Measures 27 x 7 x 1.5 inches. When you wield Frodo's trusty weapon, you'll know when Orcs are near because it glows blue! Not only that, but you'll experience a clash and clang of battle with digitally recorded sound effects controlled by a motion sensor inside this replica. Near end of the second age of "Middle-Earth," Narsil's blade was shattered as Elendil fell during a Last Alliance of Elves and Men in a great battle with Sauron. Isildur, Elendil's son, then used this broken hilt of Narsil to cut the One Ring from Sauron's finger, breaking the bonds of his power, banishing his evil shadow into darkness.
