To celebrate the World Premiere taking place here in Wellington, New Zealand on 28 November 2012, Weta has created two items that are sure to become treasured mementoes of the event. Both feature Bag End, the place where The Unexpected Journey starts for The Hobbit and his companions. These items are only available to those who have made the long journey to Middle-earth (New Zealand) and to those who already reside here (and have a New Zealand shipping address). They are available to order here online or to purchase in person at the Weta Cave or select NZ retailers. The pin is engraved on the front with the front door of Bag End, the logo for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the date of the World Premiere, 28-11-2012. The reverse features the Weta logo bug and the words 'World Premiere Wellington, New Zealand' as well as a copyright statement. The pin is made from metal (Zinc Alloy) and comes mounted on a backing card inside a zip-loc bag.
