Burger King Lord of the Rings Figures

Issued as a promotion for the release of The Fellowship of the Ring, these came with the purchase of food for a very limited time. Characters include, Frodo Baggins, Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, Arwen, Lurtz, Aragorn, Gimli, Sam Gamgee, Boromir, Legolas, Elrond, and many others.

Danbury Mint Lord of the Rings Figures

Amongst the more classic LOTR collectibles, most of these characters preceded the movie trilogy by a few years. Coveted by most collectors the Danbury Mint released a newer series referred to as the Nine Walkers. The usual cast of characters are in this collection; Gandalf, Frodo Baggins, Gimli, Legolas, Boromir, and more.

Gentle Giant Lord of the Rings Figures

Gentle Giant took a slightly more surreal approach to thier series. Most of these characters are more artistically rendered from the movie trilogy cast.

Kinder Surprise Lord of the Rings Figures

A mainly European release of characters from Kinder Surprise. These were included in chocolates and associated with the release of each of the movie; The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.

Mike Makras The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings Figures

A very hard to find set of characters based on the animated releases of LOTR and The Hobbit. Characters include the Elven-King of Mirkwood (Thranduil),  Smaug, Gollum,  Gandalf, Shelob, and others.

Lord of the Rings Dolls & Plush

Lord of the Rings Dolls, Tonner Dolls, Nesting Dolls, Barbie Dolls, Plush Dolls. 'Nuff said.

Rawcliffe Middle-Earth Pewter Figures

While the original release of these figurines came during the movie trilogy, they are not based on the movie characters. They are based on the books by licensing requirements. Still these are very nice pewter renderings of some of the most popular book characters like Gandalf, Frodo Baggins, Ringwraiths, Tom Bombadil, Goldberry, Legolas, Gimli, Gollum and more.

Royal Doulton Lord of the Rings Figurines

These Royal Doulton Lord of the Rings figurines were made in the late 1970 and early 1980's. Interestingly, they include some of the lesser known characters (for those only familiar with the movies) like Barliman Butterbur and Tom Bombadil.

Royal Selangor began producing figures / figurines / sculptures in the late 2000's after the release of thier beautiful chess set. These are the finest pewter collectibles available in both The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings lines.

Tudor Mint The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings Pewter Figures

The Tudor Mint of England made these figurines in the 1990's sold them all over Europe and North America, but that doesn't mean they are easy to find. Two distinct collections were produced; The Hobbit and LOTR series. The later could be further divided into two groups, the original series and the second series. Some of these pieces are very heavy.
