This gorgeous, high-end chess set from the Noble Collection is a work of art detailing the story of Frodo
Baggins and the friends
and enemies he encounters on his journey to destroy the One Ring in
Mordor. A map of Middle-earth is mounted below the playing surface, and the base
contains images of the most memorable characters and scenes from the film. The 32 playing pieces are detailed miniature sculptures of the
characters from the film, made in fine pewter. Each piece measures between 2 - 3 inches in height and bears an incredible likeness to the
actor as it was personally approved by each of them. Some of the pieces included are: Arwen, Aragorn, Gandalf, Galadriel, Boromir, Pippin,
Frodo, Sam Gamgee, Merry Brandybuck, four different Orcs, Orthanc Tower, Cave Troll, Ringwraith, Saruman, Lurtz, and Uruk-Hai. The board measures 15 by 15 by
4.5 inches. The top of the board is Plexiglas and the rest of the board is made out of cold cast porcelain. Hero pieces have a green ring around
the bottom and villain pieces have a purple ring around the bottom. A heavyweight item, this is a chess set that will be treasured for generations.

separately). This is a set of 12 pieces intended to be a supplement to your existing pieces, or simply for collection and display. You can
substitute any of these pieces for a non-pawn character of your choice to customize your chess set. Best of all, they have been designed
specifically to be stored away in the built-in chess board compartments on the side of the
set!
All pieces are made of fine pewter and are meticulously crafted
miniature sculptures that measure between 2 and 2 1/2 inches tall. Hero
pieces have a green ring around the bottom and villain pieces have a
purple ring around the bottom. The hero pieces in this set are: Eowyn,
Legolas, Treebeard, Ent, King Theoden, and Gimli. The villain pieces in
this set are: 2 different Nazgul (Ringwraiths) on Fell Beasts pieces, Gollum, Smeagol,
Wormtongue, and the Barad-Dur tower of Mordor. Great collector's items.

deceptively forged the One Ring in secret, to rule the three rings of the
Elven folk, the seven rings of the Dwarf-Lords, and the nine rings for the
Men, which he had all made and deceived their owners as to their true

The film series covers the End of the War of the
Ring, in Sauron's last rising, and the events leading to the destruction
of the One Ring, in an exciting and action filled film, highly acclaimed
by all critics.
