Pursued by Ringwraiths as they try to leave the Shire, Frodo Baggins and Sam Gamgee fall in with Frodo's cousins, Merry Brandybuck and Pippin Took. Merry's quick thinking saves them, as he leads them to the Bucklebury Ferry crossing. The only crossing of Brandywine River for twenty miles, the tiny ferry is just large enough to accommodate the Hobbits and they are just fast enough to move beyond reach of a Ringwraith that chases Frodo to the River's edge. As seen in Fellowship of the Ring, this polystone environment captures this ferry and west bank of Brandywine River. Every detail is present, including wooden dock where thwarted Ringwraith let loose with his piercing and anguished cry. Sculpted by WETA Workshop artist Rebecca Asquith. Underside of the environment base includes artist's signature and edition size.

WETA Workshop - New Zealand
February 2011
Dimensions:5.9" x 11.8" x 7.1" (H x W x D)
Weight: 5.1lbs (2.3 Kg)

Nestled in the gently rolling green hills of the Shire is the village of Hobbiton, a sleepy assemblage of stone buildings and burrows, home to the diminutive Hobbits. Overlooking the village from the hill at the end of Bagshot Row is Bag End, the stately underground abode of Bilbo Baggins, an eccentric Hobbit widely acknowledged about town as having cracked some years ago, and his cousin and ward Frodo Baggins, who is certainly in the process of cracking. Consorting with Wizards, Dwarves and other folk with dangerous ideas, the Bagginses maintain a museum of sorts in their home, the various rooms of Bag End being stuffed with treasures and trinkets accumulated over the years by Bilbo either on his adventures or as gifts from his peculiar company. But extraordinary as its occupants and contents might be, the abiding atmosphere of Bag End itself is one of lazy comfort, from the pretty but slightly overgrown gardens that hug its eaves to the welcoming clutter inside it labyrinthine chambers. Reclined across the hillside in the shade of an old oak tree whose roots twist through its halls, the home reflects the gentle good humour of its hosts and the universal Hobbit love of simple pleasures. There have been Bagginses living under the hill for as long as anyone can remember, and there always will be. Created by some of the same artists and craftsmen who work on our movies, like Daniel Falconer, David Tremont, Daniel Cockersell and several others. It's a real team effort to produce a piece like this.

Weight: 6.6lbs (3 Kg)
Sculpted by Mary Maclachlan
Mightiest river of Middle-earth, the great Anduin winds its way south along the eastern flank of the Misty Mountains toward the sea. As the Fellowship makes its way down river in their Elven boats they are awed by the sight of the Argonath. Weta's return to Middle-earth and specifically to polystone collectibles is celebrated with a truly iconic piece. It continues on from previous environments that have been popular with collectors the world over. Long ago carved from the rocky hillsides upon either bank, these towering statues of the ancient Kings Elendil and his son Isildur stand with arms raised in warning to travellers from the north. For Aragorn it is a moment long sought, to look upon the carved faces of his kinsmen of old and the glory of ancient Gondor they represent.

Weight: 3.3lbs (1.5 Kg)
Sculpted by Mary Maclachlan
Perched upon a crossroads in the northwest of Middle-earth, the small town of Bree is a quiet place. In the center of town, the Prancing Pony Inn is a home away from home for weary travelers from distant lands. Looking for Gandalf the Grey, Frodo and his companions seek shelter from the Black Riders who have pursued them through the wilderness, but there is little rest to be found at the Inn this night. Unfriendly stares bear down on the fearful Hobbit party and the wizard fails to appear. Amid the sodden patrons and hooded strangers Frodo and his friends exchange fretful glances, while outside the terrifying Wraiths converge upon the town in search of their quarry. The Prancing Pony limited edition collectible environment continues the tradition from previous environments that have been popular with collectors the world over, such as Bag End, The Argonath, Khazad-Dűm, Buckleberry Ferry and many others

WETA Workshop Rivendell WETA Workshop Rivendell WETA Workshop Rivendell WETA Workshop Rivendell Rivendell - NEW

Open Edition
Dimensions: 7.9" x 18.1" x 12.2" (H x W x D) 20 cm x 46 cm x 31 cm
Weight: 13.2lbs (6 Kg)
Sculpted by the combined efforts of 14 people
Home to Elrond, Rivendell was founded in the year 1697 of the Second Age by the Elven Lord as a haven amid the growing darkness in the north of Middle-earth. Under the protection of Elrond's Ring of Power Vilya, Rivendell was a sanctuary and meeting place for the forces of light and persisted in secrecy and security until the War of the Ring and the fall of Sauron, the enemy. There dwelt the Lady Arwen, and king in exile, Aragorn, came and went as he pleased. Bilbo Baggins called Rivendell home in his declining years, and often it hosted secret war councils and discussions among the leaders of the free peoples. The heirlooms of Middle-earth were gathered there in Elrond's library: Narsil, the sword of Elendil that cut the Ring from Sauron's hand, and Aiglos, the spear of Gil-Galad, among others.

Imladris, the Last Homely House - the Elven settlement was known by many names, though its paths were shrouded in secrecy and enchantment. Perched among waterfalls in a hidden valley in the foothills of the Misty Mountains, Elrond's home provided a safe haven for Thorin's company during the quest for Erebor and Frodo's party when they sought refuge from Sauron's wraiths. It was at Elrond's council in Rivendell that the Fellowship of the Ring was born and the quest to destroy the One began. Even beyond the end of the Third Age, when the Rings of Power were no more and Elrond had passed over the Sea, Rivendell remained, at least for a time, in the keeping of Elrond's sons Elladan and Elrohir.

The Rivendell environment from Weta is based on the miniature featured in The Lord of the Rings and built by the same artists and craftsmen that work on our movies. It has resulted in a stunningly detailed environment that evokes the serenity and peace of the House of Elrond. 1,200 hours of creativity and attention to detail went into this piece. Every tree, every ornament, every brick was considered and produced to make up the whole.

Rivendell is by some margin the biggest of The Lord of the Rings environments from Weta, such as Bag End, The Prancing Pony, The Argonath and others.

IMPORTANT: Unpacking your Rivendell: In order to ensure nothing happens to your Rivendell in transit, the base has been secured to the packaging with bolts. You will need to loosen these with the included wrench to remove your Rivendell environment.

Numbered Edition: The first 300 Rivendell sculptures ordered online are individually numbered on the base and the box. Subsequent orders will not be numbered but part of an open edition.

WETA Workshop Orthanc WETA Workshop Orthanc Orthanc - Black Tower of Isengard - NEW
$250
February 29, 2012
Open Edition
Dimensions: 16.9" x 11.8" x 7.1" (H x W x D) 43 cm x 30 cm x 18 cm
Weight: 4.2lbs (1.9 Kg)
Sculpted by David Tremont
In a great black tower in Isengard dwells Saruman the White. Before the great wizard was turned to the dark side, in the time when Gandalf sought council with Saruman - the head of his order - Isengard was lush and green and its gardens lent themselves well to a contemplative stroll. This Orthanc is the inspiration for Weta's latest environment from The Lord of the Rings. Weta has previously created an Orthanc collectible based on Isengard AFTER Saruman and his orc cohorts felled the trees and turned the once-pleasant sanctuary into an industry of war and destruction. This new Orthanc at just under 17 in (43cm) towers above the old collectible, which has allowed for intricate detail in the tower as well as the surrounding gardens. It joins previous environments from Weta, such as Rivendell and Bag End as well as the long sold-out The Argonath and The Prancing Pony.

Numbered Edition: The first 400 Orthanc sculptures ordered online will be individually numbered on the base and the box. Subsequent orders will not be numbered but part of an open edition.
